About Larthia
Larthia originates from the group experience gained during the PhD studies and professional activity. Our namesake, Larthia Seianti, honors its origins in Pisa and Pescia, where the group was initially based. Her sarcophagus was unearthed not far from both cities.
Network traffic acceleration and deep packet inspection have been the focus of the team's work from the beginning. After some time, the group's primary programming area evolved into cybersecurity. This led to Vegoia, one of the fastest, and most accurate Network Intelligence platforms.
The Team
Nicola Bonelli - PhD. - He is an expert in high-performance network programming and telecommunication engineering . He has more than 20 years of experience developing industry software and has ten years of experience working on EU projects and conducting academic research at the University of Pisa.
Fabio Del Vigna - PhD. - He collaborated with the Institute of Informatics and Telematics (IIT) of CNR, Pisa. He developed software for Social Media Mining and data analysis and worked on 5 national and European projects. Since 2017 he has worked as a freelance developer.
